OVERVIEW

Eve Park is the first neighbourhood of its kind. It marks a reset in the relationship between people and automobiles, and between automobiles and living spaces. It is a condo space where owners will have to take informed decisions for a sustainable livestyle. I redesigned the landing page of Evepark's wesbite using User Centric Design approach.

GOAL

  • ▸ Create user personas based on the research data to curate user journey and content on the landing page.
  • ▸ Redesign and build the landing page.

Process

Understanding Business Objectives

I sat through stakeholder meetings and attended conference calls to understand the vision of the Evepark project. I gathered requirements and constraints to be applied while designing the web page from the strategy and marketing teams.

Understanding Users

I curated user personas based on the research data gathered by our team. We decided to cluster user data into user groups instead of single personas because real estate decisions usually involve the whole family, its almost never a single person's decision.

Mapping User Journey

I curated the journey of primary personas from the time they start looking for a new property until and after they subscribe to Evepark Newletter. The research data and insights helped me map out the complete journey and also understand user's emotions and thoughts during each stage.

Designing the Landing Page

Based on the emotional indexes of the four user groups I narrowed down the information to be displayed on the landing page. Then I started sketching various outlines of the page. Afer 3 iterations of low fidelity wireframes and numerous client feedback I created the final prototype for further testing and iteration.

FINAL DESIGN

Retrospective

  • As a designer it is important to ask the right questions to all the stakeholders before starting the design process, a clear understanding of the scope and requirements makes the design more efficient and cohesive.
  • Change is the only constant in the UX process, a designer must be prepared to make changes to the product in accordance with business requirement changes and user behavior.
